From Catania, tour Agrigento’s Valley of the Temples and Villa del Casale mosaics in Piazza Armerina with hotel pickup in a small group.

“Pickup and drop off at the hotel was timely and professional. Not having to drive and enjoy the ride was great. Getting an audio guide at Agrigento requires drop off at the same place where it was acquired. However our driver was waiting for us at the opposite end of the vallye for pickup. We ended up wasting time walking back to the audio place and then heading back to the pickup location of our driver at the opposite end of the valley. Knowing that in advance would have given us more time exploring as we only had 2 hours available. Our next stop Piazza Armerina was only for one…”

“I had a great time during the day trip, after contemplating hiring a car and driving myself I’m glad I didn’t as the amount of driving was extensive. It was a long day but well worth it, the Valley of the Temples was inspiring and Piazza Armenia was breath taking. Excellent value for money!”

“The trip wasn't quite what we expected, but that's not a bad thing, as we had so much fun. We spent about 70min at the Villa Romana del Casale, then drove around Piazza Armerina and visited the Cathedral of Piazza Armerina. Spectacular. We then had a long and rather boozy lunch in a wonderful bar in the Piazza Armerina. Lots of fabulous local food and wine. We eventually spent an hour or so exploring Caltagirone, before heading home. Our driver/guide Antonio was hilarious and ensured that we all had a fun time.”

Private Catania tour to Agrigento’s Valley of Temples and Villa Romana del Casale mosaics, with pickup and an English guide.

“We booked this to avoid the hassle of a crowd in the bus/van and during the tour. This was ABSOLUTELY worth the money. Alessandro was clearly knowledgeable of the history of all the sites and how to tour each place. He was friendly and welcoming. He of course was not allowed to guide inside the sites, but his directions were most useful for an efficient and comprehensive tour. We never felt rushed. Even when there was an unexpected road closure, he did not shorten our time at each location. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in having a detailed look at these two important archeological sites.”
