“The trip was a bit unlucky because we got heavy rainfall throughout the tour. So some parts, that could have been more enjoyable, weren't. Of course this was not the guide's fault. Another aspect of this tour is that for the sheer amount of driving, what you get is a relatively small time at the sites. That again is not the driver's fault, it is how things are. From Catania, it is just a lot of driving. Perhaps they should try to insert another stop, like Noto, to make more out of all the road-tripping.”

“Carmelo Caruso was our wonderful guide through Inspector Montalbano’s favorite haunts, including the beautiful town of Scicli, the location of his beautiful office and Punta Secca, the wonderful Beach town where Montalbano spent much of his time. We learned much about Italian life from Carmelo, a warm, engaging man who loved his work and goes the extra kilometer to make sure you have a great time. A great way to see towns you might easily miss! Highly recommended!”

“Our guide was the wonderful Daniela, we had a great day! She was not only attentive but informative, fun, easy going and engaged with each of us on the tour to personalise the experience with relevant info etc. We had a slight hiccup about start time (not the fault of Daniela) but it all went smoothly after that. It was a little bit of a squeeze with 3 adults in the back of the car, but I’d recommend this tour nonetheless. The scenery, over all pace and Montalbano places were all perfect. A holiday highlight!”
